  Fantastic service at this location. The gentlemen (in particular Kevin and Hanad) were extremily friendly and helpful. The truck was in great condition and was perfect for our needs. Any time I need to rent again, I'm coming back to this place!

  This business truly goes above and beyond all expectations. We rented a cargo van through Ashley. Ashley instructed my sister on how to use the vehicle. My sister was picked up by a very friendly driver. When we came back, Nathan, Haddad and Butch helped my sister unload the cargo van at no charge. The van was a few hours late and no extra charge. Wonderful people to deal with, I will use them again as they come with my highest recommendations. Five stars does not do it justice.

  I wouldn't even know where to start telling my experience with your company. Me and a friend reserves a compact car for a trip from Ottawa to Niagara falls. The we were supposed to pick up the car, we received a phone call saying there is no compact cars and were were getting an SUV. We were not too thrilled about that since it would cost us a lot more on gas. Later on that day we went to pick up the car at 938 st laurent blvd, as it said on my reservation, just to find out that that location has been permanently close (it was an empty building). We tried to call customer service they were giving us a hard time, after being on the phone for almost half an hour we figured out that that location has moved to cyrville road. We then finally got the car (after spending double what needed be on a cab) and we were on the road. Everything was fine until Sunday morning, where we started to head back to Ottawa, stopped at Tim Horton's put down the window on the driver's side and it would not go back up. We have tried calling customer service multiple times, speaking to different agents, and they all proceeded to tell us that there is nothing they can do. We called ONSTAR service and were told to drop off the car at GM dealership but other than that they could not help us. My friend then found a 24 hour location in Thornhill, ON, so we started going there in hoped that maybe we can just have the car swapped and be on our way. We got to that location just to find out that they are closed on Sundays. Called customer service again, and again was told they cant do anything for us. Drive 100 km/h for 5 hours with wind and rain in the drivers face is not pleasant. We then found a location in Thornhill that was opening shortly. We decided to go there and wait for them to open. We went into the location and the gentleman working said he cant really do anything, so he went to the car and started reading a manual. I was quiet fed up with the whole experience at this point, and I let the gentleman know once again that we need a car to go back to Ottawa. He told us he doesn't have one, and he also said: "You better start driving back to Ottawa before it starts raining." What he should have done is atleast found us a new car and a location that is open but no.. we then gave up on this since no one at all wanted to help us. Started driving back. It was brutal with the wind and the rain. We ended up stopping at a location in Belleville, they had a little more empathy than any of the other people we dealt with that day. The staff from Belleville ended up finding us a car in Kingston. We drove another 45 mins to Kingston and finally got a new car. Dropped the car off Monday morning in Ottawa. I did get a refund for the rental of the car but now both, me and my friend are very sick and have to miss work (and the time off is unpaid). It is absolutely ridiculous that no one would be willing to come up with a solution for us and provide a good customer service as usually expected. This is completely unacceptable.

  BUT - winter in Ottawa, even with 2000lbs of cargo I had difficulty negotiating snow covered parking lots and ramps, snow drifts on exposed roads. All season tires do not perform as well as snow tires.

  Rental companies have managed snow tire logistics in Quebec. They should be able to manage in Ontario, or at least outside of the Toronto bubble.

  My snow tire equiped car was written off because I was rear-ended by someone without snow tires. It was the height of obsuridity that I became as dangerous as that person because there are no rental cars in Ottawa with snow tires.
