  This past summer, I wanted to turn my unfinished basement into livable space and was thinking of doing it myself during my holdays. But I decided to just check with a contractor to see if maybe it made more sense to go that way. Danny came over and explained how he could do the job and save money on the way of doing it but still have it look good and meet code. Also he said he could do it fast which would make my wife happy. I'm happy to say that I didn't do it myself and Danny and his crew got the job done fast, as promised and under budget. I would recommend Job Doctor wholeheartedly to anyone needing quality renovations on their home.

  We were very happy with their work and impressed with their reliability and professionalism; so much so, that we hired them again in February 2013 to do a complete renovation of our ensuite bathroom. Job Doctor’s prices were competitive but even more importantly, they did great work and they were reliable - they showed up when they said they would and they kept us informed on the progress of the project. Any issues were quickly addressed and resolved. They kept the work area clean throughout the project and did a remarkable job of cleaning up afterwards.

  We first hired Job Doctor General Contracting in June of 2012 to install railings on our back deck, to remove a brick planter box and replace some interlock brick in our driveway. It was a small job compared to the projects profiled on their website, and we weren’t sure they would even do it, but they promptly returned our e-mail, arranged to come see the project and quickly provided us with a detailed estimate – a welcome change compared to some other companies we were dealing with just trying to get quotes!

  My wife and I hired Job doctor for an extensive renovation of our Victorian house in the Glebe area of Ottawa. This involved renovating an old extension completely from roof to floor joists, a new deck, new floors, new inlaid brick driveway,renovating a small bathroom, drywall and painting. They did an excellent job, kept within time an budget, and dealt with unexpected findings as are inevitable when renovating old buildings , in a very efficient and cost effective manner. I was very happy with Daniel Post , the owner, who is very straightforward and fair. We are still enjoying the fruits of the renovation and are very happy we got them. Highly recommended.
